started CTN Travels in 1989 to service the group
travel market. At that time we had more than 30 years
combined experience in the travel industry and considered
this a strong foundation on which to build a successful
business. Nearly 20 years later we are proud of our many
satisfied customers and look forward to continuing to
provide enjoyable and stimulating travel adventures for our
clients.
CTN Travels is a tour operator member of the prestigious
National Tour Association as well as a member of Cruise
Lines International Association. A significant part of our
business is with bank travel clubs. The company is a member
of Bank Travel and is a preferred tour operator for Heritage
Clubs International. |

We have always taken pride in the research, attention to
detail and personal service associated with our tours. As a
further extension of this quality commitment CTN has entered
into an agreement with L. E. Ralston Enterprises, Inc. to
work cooperatively on a limited number of tours. Under
contract with CTN, Ralston Enterprises will do the research
for these tours and recommend itineraries. Larry Ralston is
scheduled to be the tour director on each of these tours.
CTN Travels will be the tour operator. We hope you will join
us for a wonderful travel experience.
ESCORTED FROM DENVER
You will meet your tour
director at Denver International Airport on tours involving
air travel or the designated departure point for motor coach
tours. The tour director will travel with the group from
this starting point, through the entire tour and return. He
will be there to take care of arrangements, handle
unforeseen developments and enhance your tour experience.
AIR TRAVEL
The tour price for tours
involving air travel includes roundtrip airfare from Denver
on regularly scheduled airlines. CTN will be happy to make
seating requests, but seating assignments are controlled by
the airlines and cannot be guaranteed. If you would like to
join the tour in the city into which we are flying, you may
do so. Call CTN Travels and request a price without airfare.
You may then make your own travel arrangements and
coordinate plans with CTN Travels for joining the tour.
Please do not book non-refundable airfare until you confirm
with CTN Travels that the tour will operate.
Each traveler will be responsible for paying airline charges
for checked bags. These fees are not included in the
tour price.
QUALITY HOTELS
CTN considers many factors
in choosing excellent hotels which add to your tour
satisfaction. We seldom use the most expensive properties
but we understand that a convenient hotel location or a
unique property can greatly enhance your tour experience.
Multiple night stays contribute to a more relaxed tour and
are included whenever possible.
MOTORCOACHES
CTN charters the most modern,
comfortable motor coaches available. All the coaches we use
in the U.S. are equipped with restroom, air conditioning,
sound system, and large windows. Smoking is not permitted on
the coach at any time.
MEALS
Tours in the U.S. and Canada
include breakfast most days. Other meals are included when
it adds to the tour experience such as a welcome or farewell
gathering, a dining entertainment package, or special
restaurant. The codes (located with the tour description for
each day) for included meals are: B=Breakfast, BB=Breakfast
Buffet, CB=Continental Breakfast, L=Lunch, LB=Lunch Buffet,
PL=Picnic or Boxed Lunch, D=Dinner, DB=Dinner Buffet. Meals
on board cruise ships are included.
SEAT ROTATION
We will rotate seats on the
coach to enable everyone to get acquainted more quickly and
have a variety of viewing locations.
TIPPING
Tips for the tour director,
drivers, local guides, wait staff for included meals and
luggage handlers at hotels (one piece per guest) are included in the
tour price.
INSURANCE
Limited trip interruption or
cancellation, health and accident travel insurance coverage
is included in the tour price. Details are available on
request.
PAYMENTS/CANCELLATIONS
Deposit and payment
requirements vary for individual tours. Check for details in
the printed information for each tour. Unless otherwise
stated in the tour information, your reservation deposit is
fully refundable until the due date for final payment. If
you cancel your reservation after the due date for final
payment, protection is subject to terms of the trip
cancellation insurance.
Tour cost is subject to change due to
additional charges or fees from suppliers such as fuel
surcharges. Any increases will be limited to the
actual amount of such charges
TRAVELERS NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
Before making your reservation,
it is your responsibility to advise CTN Travels if you have
any special needs or disabilities. CTN will make reasonable
efforts to accommodate the special needs of tour
participants. Neither CTN Travels, nor its personnel, nor
its suppliers may physically assist clients into
transportation vehicles, and cannot provide special
individual assistance to tour members with special needs for
walking, dining or other routine activities. It is strongly
recommended that persons requiring assistance be accompanied
by a companion who is capable of and totally responsible for
providing the assistance. The Americans with Disabilities
Act does not apply outside of the United States and
facilities for disabled individuals outside the United
States are limited.
AFTER YOU REGISTER
When CTN Travels receives your
deposit we will send you an invoice acknowledging your
deposit and indicating the balance due and the final payment
date. There will not be another payment reminder. After CTN
receives your final payment, we will mail you a payment
receipt and insurance information. Approximately 21 days
prior to departure CTN Travels will mail to you a hotel
list, your flight schedule, a list of suggested items to
bring, a tour itinerary, and details about our meeting point
for departure. We will include an extra copy of the hotel
and flight information so you may leave it with a friend or
relative.
AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
The RTD Skyride is a convenient,
reliable and affordable service in the six county
Denver/Boulder metro area. Senior fares are half price. The
bus drops you at the airport terminal door on Level 5. For

CONSUMER
DISCLOSURE NOTICE
Any partial or full payment for
a reservation on a tour operated by CTN Travels shall
constitute consent to all provisions of this document as
well as information contained in any printed materials about
the tour. These provisions are hereby incorporated by
reference in the Disclosure Notice, and passengers are
advised to take note of them. Larry Ralston is scheduled to
be your tour director. However, there could be unexpected
circumstances which would result in another well qualified
individual serving in this capacity.
CTN Travels (hereafter called
CTN), its owners, employees, and partners acts solely in the
capacity of agent in the arrangement of the travel services
specified in these programs. As such, CTN accepts no
responsibility for any acts or actions on the part of any
supplier that may cause delays or cancellations or personal
injury or damage or loss of personal property. CTN reserves
the right to change the itinerary and/or services listed in
the tour information. Any service changes will be of equal
or greater value. CTN accepts no responsibility or liability
for any acts of weather, acts of God, acts of war or
terrorism either declared or undeclared or any other acts or
actions on the part of any supplier, their employees or
their assigns not under the express control of CTN.
L. E. Ralston Enterprises, Inc.,
its officers, directors and employees (Ralston Enterprises)
provides specified services under contract to CTN Travels
and is not a party to any agreement between the individual
traveler and CTN Travels, the tour operator. Ralston
Enterprises assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held
liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, or
other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity
which may occur.
